Interested in becoming a WHS Cheerleader next season? Come experience a practice! We will have open practices on the following dates: 

 

Thursday, April 10th

Monday, April 14th

Monday, May 5th

Wednesday, May 7th

 

All open practices are from 3:45-5:15pm in the WHS Commons area. All rising 8th graders through rising seniors are welcome! We will work on cheers, dances, stunting, and tumbling. Attendance at open practices is NOT required to try out!

 

Tryouts for the 2025/2026 WHS Cheerleading team will be: 

 

Monday, May 19

Wednesday, May 21

Thursday, May 22

 

Tryouts will be from 3:45-5:45 in the WHS Aux Gym. Tryouts will include the fight song, a cheer, jumps, and stunting. Tumbling is optional. If you are planning to try out for the 25/26 cheerleading team, please fill out this Google formIf you are a part of a spring sport and cannot make it to tryouts but are interested in being a part of the 25/26 team, please reach out to me directly via email at morrise@wataugaschools.org!
